STUDENT CLUBS

School is more than just academics—at All Saints, it is also a place where students can pursue their interests, try new things, and have fun! Our student clubs are open to 5th-8th grade students and they meet about once a month on Thursday afternoons during Advisory. 

Student Interest Clubs give students a chance to dive into exciting activities, meet new friends, and develop skills in areas they love. Clubs meet every few weeks during advisory time on Thursdays. All 5th – 8th grade students choose from the following clubs:

  • Yearbook Club: Use school cameras to take quality photos of school events. Use school computers to format the yearbook.

  • Student Activities Club: Plan events like the April dance, school celebrations, Mardi Gras and Catholic Schools Week!

  • Coding Club: Learn to code with Scratch! Plus, talk with guest speakers who work in programming and software engineering industries to see what it’s really like.

  • Readers & Writers Club: Cozy up wit a snack, a blanket and a good book. Or, break out your journal and try your hand at writing the next New York Times bestseller!

  • Drama Club: A chance for budding performance artists to develop your acting skills! Play drama games, improv comedy and skits.

  • Art Club: DIY art & creative projects like painting, sculpture, collage, knitting and more! Use school art supplies or bring your own.

  • Outdoor Skills Club: Like to be outside? Learn to tie flies for fishing, tie knots, whittle, build survival kits and more!

  • Team Sports Club: Engage in friendly competition and sportsmanship through sport like basketball, football, soccer, ultimate frisbee and more.

  • Sewing & Cooking Club: Learn how to use a sewing machine and needle-and-thread to create small projects and repair clothing. Plus, try out cooking and baking basics with small appliances!

Upperclassmen have the opportunity to work with SPARKS, a mentoring program in which “big kids” are buddy mentors paired with fifth graders.
